Michio Chicago Volleyball Academy has 4 core principles: integrity, teamwork, discipline and dedication.

Our mission is to provide our players and coaches with the highest level of mentoring, both on and off the court . We believe that a small family atmosphere is critical. We know that it takes a collaborative effort from players, parents, and coaches to make this an unique experience for all involved. Our passionate and enthusiastic  staff includes college and high school coaches along with experienced players working constantly to develop their teams. All of us work together to ensure that all players in our club are receiving the best training possible.

In just 5 years, Michio has gained tremendous respect nationally and is ranked one of the top clubs in the state of Illinois and in the country. Michio Chicago VBA qualified many of its teams for the USAV Junior National Championship in 2014 and 2015 and won the USAV National Championship in 2012 in the 15 Open division.In 2015. Our 17 National team finished 5th in the country in the Open Division.

Michio Chicago VBA draws players from many different schools including Andrew, Benet Academy, Bolingbrook, Bremen,  Chicago Christian,Crete Monee,  Crown Point, DeLaSalle, Fenwick, Glenbard South,  Immaculate Conception, Homewood-Flossmoor, Joliet West, Lane Tech,  Latin School of Chicago, Lemont, Lincoln-Way East, Lincoln-Way North, Lincon-Way West, Lockport, Lyons Township,  Marist, Mother McAuley, Munster, Nazareth, Oak Forest,  Oak Lawn, Oak Park River Forest, Providence,  Richards, Sandburg, Shephard, St. Ignatius, St Joe, Tinley Park, Valparaiso, Walter Payton, and Whitney Young.

All clinics and camps are open to the public.
